Bill is a leading industry expert in the payments, financial technology and e-commerce segments. He recently was named to the newly created role of Google’s President of Commerce, where he will oversee the company’s non-advertising businesses specifically focusing on leveraging Google’s existing assets to drive an integrated shopping experience.
Previously, Bill was the EVP and COO at PayPal which he joined via the acquisition of mobile-first payment platform Braintree, where he was CEO. Prior to Braintree, Bill served as President of iPay Technologies and worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company.
