Year In Review
We started Silversmith with a clear vision: to support capital-efficient, founder-led businesses solving real problems in technology and healthcare – companies that had already proven their model and were ready to scale. This year marked a milestone for us: 10 years, 5 funds, and $5+ billion under management. But the number that matters most isn’t measured in funds or dollars; it’s the relationships we’ve formed with the 55+ companies we’ve partnered with along the way. The last decade in growth equity has taught us that the best businesses aren't built by reinventing the wheel – they’re built by founders and entrepreneurs who understand their customers deeply and have the courage and grit to follow through on their ambition.
Our job is to roll up our sleeves and support their ambition – not by imposing a one-size-fits-all playbook, but by bringing strategic guidance and operational support, rooted in deep domain expertise, and complemented by a network of trusted advisors. We do this as a team, everyone rowing in the same direction, even when the waters are choppy. Like the businesses we back, we believe the best results are driven by teams with a shared purpose, working together (it’s also a lot more fun).
A lot has changed over the last 10 years, but our perspective hasn’t. When founders and CEOs pick Silversmith, we’re in a position of trust, and we take that responsibility seriously.
